n7000 (Note 1) battery on Galaxy Nexus GMS??

Hi ,

I need a new battery for my Gnex i9250 GMS. I know the first thing would be to use the extender that's meant for my phone, however I am in India and getting things is not easy as the US, etc, if it is available, it doesn't come cheap.

So I wanted to know if anyone has used a n7000 (Note 1) 2500mAh battery on this phone? Please do let me know.

Nevermind, the size is not the same. Saw an ad on Ebay saying it was compatible with the Note I and Gnex hence I asked.

The S3 Battery is a 2100 mAh battery, but its 3.8v while the nexus is 3.7v the size of these 2 are the same but the 0.1 difference in voltage is concerning me.

So would a S3, 2100 mAh 3.8v battery damage my phone ?

I can check on the S3 battery working tomorrow Fri 8/23. I'll be surprised if it physically fits...

EDIT: No a GS3's battery does not physically fit in GN...
