N72 no hdmi big mistake

The N7 which I own has some great tv/movie apps but no way to view other than on that small screen. I was hoping for HDMI out. I was betting on it, but NOOOO. I think that is a big mistake since most abdroid tablets have HDMI and apple of course like my ipad 3 and ipad mini have wireless streaming. Until google/asus adds a way to get its apps on a TV i'm passing and keeping my first generation 7. It's been perfect and there's nothing about the new model that is sny major change for me. Your thoughts.

They want you to use the Chromecast HDMI plugin which is, in my opion, is much better not having to deal with cords etc

It uses a Slim Port Adapter for HDMI.
Plug the slim Port Adapter into the 7 and a HDMI cable into the adapter.

Uhh it does have hdmi out via slimport. $30 on amazon. Already have it for my nexus 4. Do your homework before you go off on a rant.

Ordered chromecast from amazon. Sounds good. For $35 its a no brainer. If it diesnt work back it goes.

No it doesn't work on the original 7.
No one ever said it would, it's a feature on the new 7.

You can use the original 7 with Chrome cast.

Then you can buy a second one, tape it as well, then take pictures of what you've done to both of them using only the front facing cam. Then attach the pics to an email to Google complaint dept
