In case you're on the fence like me. Now it's cheaper than the V30. And A LOT less than the iPhone X, assuming you successfully get a preorder this Friday.

Is the $250 off monthly discounts or is it treated like a $250 down payment on the phone so you could opt to payoff the phone right away and not get screwed out of the month payment discount.

Re: N8 Best Buy on sale

Pasted from Best Buy website.....”Savings are deducted off the full total price of the device and are reflected in reduced monthly payments over the life of the device.”

I wouldn’t bite on these October deals. Black Friday deals will be as good if not better.

These deals come out on every device at best buy next month it will be a gift card or something else. Smartphones are flooding the market and sales are not what they use to be so they need fancy ways to sell them.

Still a pretty good deal, $10 a month less than buying from Samsung or Verizon. Now the big question is besides the extra $30 a month for the phone will it raise my bill any more?

Historically it's a gift card. Target too.

But a reduced monthly through the carrier is better in my opinion. I buy accessories on Amazon for much cheaper than Best Buy lol

Instead of leasing it at $950 over 12 or 24 months it will be $700-750 over 12 or 24 months, thus reducing your monthly payment and keeping the number of payments the same

ultimately that is how it ends up but best buy sometimes takes the discount and uses it as a down payment so if you pay off the phone early you do not lose out on the "discount". That is how the handled the g6 sale over memorial day. If they treat it like Verizon then they don't take the discount off the balance and just discount the monthly payments so if you paid it off early then you would lose out on some of the discount.

As of now what's my best deal for getting a Note 8. Im with Verizon and currently have a V20

As I see it. Best buy is offering 250 off the note. If I take this deal I will still have my V20 to sell out right. Around 250 or so on swappa. Am I missing anything?

Are you on the vzw installment plan with the V20?

Only a 2 year commitment with Verizon or AT&T

I wish Verizon would do something to match on the full retail price. I am on a corporate plan and have to buy the device out right. Not sure if my HTC one can hang on until Black Friday.

Likewise, but in my case I'd want to buy it outright to get extended coverage from my credit card. The 1 year extended warranty (and 90 day loss/damage replacement coverage) only applies to the portion of the purchase that was made with the card.
