N8 Best Buy on sale, $200-250 off

So I tried an iPhone for the first time since the 3g, and while there are some family conveniences like facetime and iMessage (I know there are alternatives but that involves all those family members to have them as well), it is time for me to return to android.

Anyway, I have the option of an early upgrade by just giving back the iPhone. I do have to pay off the last month of lease - $30. I would want to get the Note8. Is it better to pay the $30 and hand in the iPhone, and get the current Verizon deal of $250 off or wait until November, not owe anything, hand in the iPhone and get it then hoping that the November/Black Friday Deals are better than the current Best Buy $250 off.

I am hoping that the Black Friday deals from Verizon are the same if not better that the Best Buy one. Also, hoping it is something that goes on all week and not just for the few days as my corporate person has to call the store to authorize the purchase.

I think last year the deals didn't involve any discount off the full price of the phone. Instead they offered a $200 or $250 gift card. I was thinking they may do the same thing this year so I went ahead and bought the note 8 from bestbuy last week when they had a $150 off the full price deal. Now with $250 off I'm gonna try to ask if they can pricematch it since I bought it last week.

Personally, I would do it today, but I'm the kind of person who loves to have my toys without waiting, and for the most part have had no regrets if there are better deals a bit later. It's to be expected that there will be better deals, but when I see the better deal, I usually just shrug my shoulders and blow it off because I figure that I've already had $100 or $200 of enjoyment from it, which is definitely the case with this phone. Like most, I'm on a budget, but the toys that I want are somewhat far and few between, so the instant gratification is more doable than if I was the type who wants new toys on a regular basis. Not that I can fault them :). I certainly can't fault the more budget minded either. I totally respect those who have the patience to wait, I've just never been a patient person. Anyway, that's just my opinion. I hope that made sense. I've never been very good at turning thoughts into words.

the deal is for money off the phone. it's not a gift card. at&t take $200 off Verizon take $250 . not sure why all the confusion

I am going to get it today... there is also a coupon floating around on slickdeals that if purchase and activate a samsung phone you also get a $100 bb gift card (on top of the discounts) While accessories are more expensive at best buy.... having an additional $100 to spend on accessories is better than paying for them myself on amazon.

Could you post a link for the deal? I’m not seeing it.

I chose Black, I would have gotten the blue if available in this market. The orchid grey was a little to purple for my preference. I was tempted but ultimately went with the Midnight Black.

I did pick up a Samsung Alcantara case in grey with the best buy gift card. I still have some gf money left.

i got that gift card, just price match amazon on what you want at BB lol

Still a pretty good deal, $10 a month less than buying from Samsung or Verizon. Now the big question is besides the extra $30 a month for the phone will it raise my bill any more?

It was only the monthly cost of the phone for me. Everything else stayed the same.
