I must say that is pretty cool. I'm going old fashion. Suspenders and all. But it's saved my phone from a death spiral twice so far.

I use a Sena Ultra Slim pocket pouch to protect my screen while its in my pocket. Otherwise, its naked and I just can't use it any other way.

I have one of those in blue and its awesome! I just can't keep using it because I'm afraid to scratch the screen and I do not like screen protectors. Even though my pockets stay empty other than the phone, I still worry.

The case doesn't come close to the screen. How are you afraid it will scratch it? Seems like a screen protector is the only way for that. I don't worry because gorilla glass is pretty damn awesome.

Naked & never have owned a case since by G1. Mine started to show a tiny bit of wear on the metal strip between the camera and Kevlar because that's the part of the back that sticks out the furthest. I own a sign business and I cut a piece of flat black adhesive vinyl on my plotter 1/16" tall X the width of that metal strip and stuck it on. Not only does it look factory clean, it protects that part of the phone and makes it grip better when you set it down. Yes, I am anal.
