Nand backup

I did a nandriod backup of my wife's phone before upgradeing her to the new gingerbread. Zvh. If I do a restore will it switch her back to zvd or do I need to do a revert back to zvd first. And will I have to re root her phone or will the nand backup reroot it after the revert

If you do a restore now with a zvd-based nandroid backup over top of zvh, you will have a mismatch between your radio and your software, and you won't be able to make calls or get data. If you wanted to restore from that nandroid, you'll need to first revert your phone to zvd. Then to restore, you'll need to root first and then install a custom recovery again, because the revert to zvd requires going back to stock recovery.
