So, I'm trying to make a Nandroid backup, which I've done once before, yet this time it's not working and I can't find a solution.

I've tried ROM manger and booting into recovery option, which boots the phone into HBOOT. I then select the "Recovery" option and it immediately reboots into the "FASTBOOT" screen with the options:
BOOTLOADER
REBOOT
REBOOT BOOTLOADER
POWER DOWN

When I select the "bootloader" option I get back to the HBOOT screen and...well....rinse and repeat.

I'm stuck and do not know where to go from here. I have S-OFF and have HBOOT-0.92.0000

Any help would be appreciated

When on HBOOT let it sit for a minute - it should take you to recovery.

Or when you hit power - If you have the options boot straight into recovery.

What ROM are you running?

Hey Pville, thanks for responding. I am not running a ROM. I'm rooted with S-OFF, but it's a stock configuration. I did let it sit there and nothing happened.

When you say boot into recovery, do mean holding volume down and power when powering up?

Does not make sense - it should take you to recovery - Try this:

Download this file
http://dougpiston.com/files/Recovery/PB31IMG-recovery-clockworkmod-3.0.0.8.zip

Rename it from PB31IMG-recovery-clockworkmod-3.0.0.8.zip to PB31IMG.zip (If you don't see the .zip in windows then just name it PB31IMG)

Make sure your SD Card is FAT32 formated. If it's not FAT32 this will not work.

Place the PB31IMG.zip file on the Root of your SD card.

Boot into HBOOT - HBOOT should see the file automatically and prompt you if you want to flash it. Select yes.

Once flashed you should have ClockworkMod 3.0.0.8 the latest version of clockwork on your phone.

When it's all said and done - remove the PB31IMG.zip file from your SD Card or move it into a directory for storage - do not leave it on the root.

Good Luck.

Thanks Pville, I will give it a shot. I have 3.0.0.8 already, but maybe flashing this will get it working.

Pville, worked perfectly. Thank you very much. I guess I could have tried that myself, but I had never heard of an instance of clockworkmod going corrupt. Anyway, i appreciate it.
