Navigation App makes phone restart

I was having issue before with the navigation app restarting my phone for no apparent reason. It has been happening from day 1, but I figured it would be something that would be fixed once I got the gingerbread update. It seems now that the issue has gotten worse because it now happens when I use the maps app as well. Seems like anything that has to do with the GPS makes the phone restart. The app will work correctly for a minute or two then restart the phone. I keep getting the prompt to send HTC the error report due to the phone restarting unexpectedly. Is there anyone else that might be having this issue?
