Navigation Bar buttons still present after switching to gesture controls

I think it is because Samsung has 2 types of gestures. There are the default Android 11 gestures and the one where the 3 different areas represent each of the 3 navigation buttons. From the screenshot above it looks like this 2nd type of gesture navigation was selected which would mean pressing or swiping on each area will simulate a button press.

Interesting. Can one or both of these 2 types be disabled?

Not sure how to multi-quote but to answer, no 3rd party launchers at all just the default. BUT, I do use a lot of Good Lock stuff and I didn't think about that! Anywhere in there you can recommend I look at? Not sure what it could be but you could be on to something.

Yeah I tried both and no difference.

Edit: Since no one else is having this I'm gonna dive into Good Lock and see. Or maybe Uninstall it all see what happens.

Hey man... that's not good that it came back.
Hmm, when I set this up on the GF2 the settings were transferred over using smart switch to the GF3 so it works as selected for me.
Will say when I set it up initially (GF2) had glitch issues with the Samsung Pay gesture and the hidden menu bar gestures. If remembering correctly, there are settings to check and consider in samsung pay's settings and it's gesture settings which will affect the system gestures.
Good luck

I had the same problem. I fixed it by turning buttons on then restart, turn gestures on and restart again. It was either a fluke or it works.
