Navigation bar disappeared after software upgrade

Hello, I had a software update last night. The navigation bar disappeared when I open any application after the update. The only way to quit the application and return to the home screen is by pulling down the status bar. Only then I get back the navigation bar. Also the Show and Hide button has completely disappeared.

Try clearing data on what ever launcher your using. settings, apps, then choose launcher your using, storage ,clear data.

You can show or hide the navigation bar from settings... Display... Navigation bar...
A new setting to avoid burn in....

That adds the dot on left to hide nav bar in case that's on try swipe up to see if nav bar comes back

My back Arrow disappeared this AM. Only the back Arrow.

I was not aware that I need to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get the navigation bar. Now all is well...excuse my ignorance
