Has anyone else noticed the lights go out on the navigation buttons at the bottom of our device? (home, menu, back, search) It seams sporadic at times, shuts off, and then back on and has nothing to do with the ambient light... am I doing something that causes them to shut off? I don't think so but who knows... any ideas?

I noted in another thread that this can occur on a full charge while plugged into a charger ...

It does not seem to matter if its plugged in or not.. battery level does not seem to matter either

My lights on the bottom at on all the time....well at least at night. I can glance at it any time of the night and the lights are dimly lit...

Yea, I have had that problem, the only real thing that is annoying. I can be using my phone at night, and the lights just go off. It is dark enough for the light sensor, but just no lights.

Yes, my lights have stopped working altogether. Would really like any advice.

CamaroHutch: What have you done about this?

The lighting of the nav buttons is controlled by the sensor just below the speaker grill. In good lighting, cover the area just below where the led lights are located and your nav buttons should light up. Uncover them and they will shut-off after a few seconds.
