Navigation no longer works without wi-fi

Google Navigation, without wi-fi, does not work and stays stuck on the 'Getting Driving Directions' popup. If I use the 'Speak destination' feature I only get the 'Connection problem' popup. When I turn wi-fi on Google Navigation works fine. I tried a common suggestion of turning Airplane Mode on and then off without any luck.

Can you get on the to google.com with 3G? Virgin Mobile speeds are starting to get worse. They've gotten nothing but slower since I got Virgin Mobile.

Speeds are subjective and irrelevant unless you two connect to the same towers.

Try clearing the cache and data on the app.
