While setting up new Samsung Tab S7, the Navigation /Home function no longer goes to the Home Default Page. It does go Home, but to whatever Page was last used.

I have 5 Home Pages & there is a default one that the Home function used to go to.

I have Android 10 & use Action Launcher. I was experimenting with the settings & the new Gesture Nav Bar & now I've lost that functionality.

Is there a setting for directing the Home command to the default Home Page?

Does your S7 go back to the homepage with the native One UI S7 launcher as default launcher?

Good idea!
Yes, when I switch back to Samsung original launcher it works correctly. So I presume it's something with Action Launcher?

Welcome to Android Central! On Action Launcher, what happens if you tap Home twice (or are you using gesture navigation)?

Yes, I'm using gestures now but when I switched back to icons to check, I found that nothing happens with a double touch. The Home function used to always take me back to the default Home Page, no matter where I was at or what App I was using, or even if I was just on a different Home Page.

Long press a empty page on your home screen , you'll see home page cards , I circled in red on my screen shot put that home icon to one of the pages to make it your default home page by long press and move or scroll until the card you want has your home page with that icon above it Screenshot_20210104-234531_Nova7.jpeg

On Action launcher, tap the star above to make as home page under edit home screen when long press empty page Screenshot_20210105-002828_Action%20Launcher.jpegScreenshot_20210105-002846_Action%20Launcher.jpeg

Yes, I have that setup already. You're correct in that it acts like there is no default page selected but that's not the case. Tried switching to another page to test.. NG.

I have sent message to Action Launcher but no response yet.

Nothing so far , see what they say, can also go to your apps list and force stop it see if goes back to normal.

Still no response from Action Launcher . I did an uninstall & reinstall, didn't help. OneUI still works ok.

A long time ago. I think it was when I had a Galaxy S4 I tried all the major launchers. Settled on & been with Action ever since.

FWIW, problem finally solved with Android 11 upgrade. Never got any response from Action Launcher. Maybe going belly up.

Back in the same boat again. Almost good for 1 week. Maybe I should be grateful for that?
Also I found a new issue using MS Swiftkey keyboard. I'll start a new topic.

I had the same issue recently on my Note 20 Ultra on One UI 3.0 with the Samsung default launcher. By trial and error, I changed from the Samsung swipe from bottom gestures that I was using to navigation buttons. Still no good. Changed to the Google gestures, started working. Then changed back to swipe from bottom gestures and has continued working since.

Should be a update for swiftkey
