So, I recently did a hard reset (at the suggestion of a rep, and it fixed my problem). Prior to the reset, whenever I adjusted the volume in Google Nav, it would say "Navigation Volume." Now, when I adjust volume in Google Nav, it says "Media Volume," and call me crazy, but I feel like the volume is not as loud as it was prior to the reset.

are you adjusting the volume while the voice is speaking or during silence (or possible while music is playing)?
had something similar happen to me & it turns out i was always changing the volume while no voice guidance was spoken--so the phone took it as adjusting the media volume.

I've noticed the same thing. I thought the change seemed coincidental with the latest Google Maps update.

I use Equalizer app and the volume is so load I usually only have it half way up if windows up and if down maybe 3/4, U seldom turn it all the way up..

Running 2.11 ruu unrooted. I still have navigation volume available when navigating. If I'm streaming BT audio while viewing maps navigation at the same time, adjusting the volume adjusts the media volume rather than the navigation volume. I just stop the music/podcast I'm listening to in order to adjust the navigation volume again.

I've had the same issue since the Maps update: no more separate Navigation Volume...only a Media Volume option.

I'm all for simplicity and unification, but I often will increase/lower my media volume... so this does sort of make it annoying. I mean, Navigation volume is typically something you configure once and leave.
