Well since I love this community and everything you guys do I'd like to stick around and see if you guys will help me lol. Since I got the one v I was going to use my old ov as kind of a iPod since mine went missing (goblins I bet). But my parents wanted to buy it off me for 25 bucks to give it to my lil sister for her birthday. The catch is I'd still have to buy my sis something. So unfortunately I gave it to my sis :/ so now I'm looking for an "iPod" replacement but an Android phone. I don't want the price to be over $150 since I'm a broke high school student haha and not an ov or os even tho I love them once I get my computer built ima gibe something back to you guys ^_^ so any ideas will help! Thanks a head!

Just grab something with a bad ESN off of eBay. I'd wager a guess that you could get a Fascinate/Showcase/Epic 4G/Galaxy S 1, they're pretty decent devices, nice screen, good development so you can get a nice ROM on there. Bad ESN is key, those always go a lot cheaper.

Personally, I'd get an Optimus V, because it's speedy with the right ROM and I already know it inside and out.

If your not willing to spend that much money for either of those buy on ebay like cole2kb said I got my OV on ebay for only $5.99 with free shipping. It was broke but I just called up virgin mobile and asked for a replacement and in 3 days it was up and running. Make sure you get the IMED so you can check if its under warranty

A good recommendation would be the Evo 4G.
Solid device, with TONS of support from devs and aftermarket. Also allows for USB OTG.

Thanks! Didn't think about that placed a bid for about 12 with free shipping. I hope I get it. Not going over $20 cuz my pay check hasn't came in and the parents are going to get I spent money on a new phone since I got my one v two weeks ago lol. But I placed a bid on an ov but I don't want it anymore what can I do?

there are tons of phones on ebay that you could use as in mp3 player. Did anyone know someone from hong kong is selling iphone like android phones? It has android 4.0.3 ICS

I just bought the Smartphone W007 and while it is my first "smartphone" I must say it is a beauty. I just hope I can figure out how to use it. The User's Manual is very small, but it is in English. Since you say it is very similar to the iPhone, do you think an iPhone user manual would be better information to help me learn? See iphone_user_guide.pdf

Is there a Smartphone W007 area at this forum, I could not find one here?

The way you interact with the phone will be entirely dependant on the OS. And since your new device has Android ics installed on it even though it may look like an iPhone everything about the apps or menus or settings will be different.
