What everyone has been saying is that you shouldn't use an app from Google Play to manage recoveries or ROMs. If you do, your probably not going to get much help fixing it. And it will almost certainly need to be fixed, because these apps are notorious for bricking phones. I wouldn't use anything like that unless it was made specifically for the Optimus V, and even then I would be hesitant. There are several excellent guides here on Android Central. Read them. Twice. At least. Read them until they make sense to you. If you don't understand something, ask, and be specific. This is one of the best communities for any phone, and there will be many people willing to help, but you have to listen to what they tell you.

i did read it but i cant transfer these file to my phone unless the are apk form. not the rom but the the other file that somebody sent me. like i said im a amture at this please be patient with me ....

Step 1: install lg drivers

Step 2: download recovery on your computer

Step 3: plug phone into computer

Step 4: slide down notification bar and click USB mass storage, turn it on

Step 5: copy the recovery on to your sdcard

Step 6: flash recovery

The recovery image file just needs to be on the root of your sd card
The flash image gui is an apk
Once you install flash image, open it (on your phone) select the image file you just downloaded and install recovery

i have been tryin to install those drivers for 2 days it gets to 80 % n stops they dont work.

You are already rooted, you can download the recovery and flash image gui right from your phone
You dont need a pc

i had to download adobe i didnt have anything to save it to im doin the now the download itself it says the download is need to be repaired.

You wont beable to open the recovery image
But the flash image gui you need to install

Out of all 10 times I have tried to download thes
e files none of them work. It seems like like everytome I wnt to download something off the net it never works

hmm love the patience here...only thing left is ask for the those lovely 10 numbers..sometimes a voice is all u need when one doesnt wanna take the time to read step by step or gets overwhelmed...
edit:btw not me with out checkn every step to make sure i dont miss something..best leave it to the pros...plenty of great help here..

i can almost bet someone with experiences will do all steps together with u one at a time till done an all understanding is there as needed to complete your first few roms...

Is that from your phone or on a computer? If it doesn't work one way try the other. You just need to get 2 files 2 your sdcard one way or another 1. The . IMG file that is the new custom recovery and 2. The .apk file that is flash image gui

No offense but you really should research and READ the Stickies before you try to flash your phone. I read everything i needed to yesterday and followed the step by step guide verbatim and flashed my Optimus V on first try at it perfectly.
