Need Android gaming help

I'm thinking of buying the Ouya to do some gaming on my TV and I also have a Nexus 7 2013. Is there anyway to connect my Nexus to my TV as well as a wired Xbox 360 controller to the Nexus, both at the same time? If not, I'm getting the Ouya. Thanks for any help and input!

If there ever is a way that is gonna work, then your going to need a microusb splitter, a slimport adapter (hdmi output) and a microusb to usb or OTG adapter. All that leaves you with no guarantee it will ever work though

So by the time I buy all these splitters, cables, and 360 controller (assuming this would even work)... I probably should just spend 99 bucks on the Ouya. I could use my laptop but I don't want to have to move things, unhook things, rehook things up, etc. I just want SNES, Genesis, and NES games a button press away.
