need built-in android `10 files app

I have an Android 10 TV box and I can not get a file manager + from the play store to access external USB stiorage.

I contacted the developer of the file manager + app and they told me the problem was because the box does not have the built-in files app which it uses to grant access to the external USB storage.

Where can I get the built-in files app and any dependencies?

Have you tried other file manager apps, like Total Commander?

The one I have on my chromecast with Google TV is called file commander

I am not sure. I can't figure out Total Commander.

1) There seems to be no way to have Total Commander act as an FTP server so I can access the box and copy files to/from it to my pc

2) I tried to copy a movie file from the internal memory to the USB but instead it duplicated the movie with a filename like movie_name(1)

You might need the FTP Plugin for Total Commander.
