Need correct information before purchasing a wireless charger.

I have a Droid Turbo with a broken power button. Unfortunately after a day of beverages, I let the battery die and am now unable to turn the phone on. Searching various forums for a solution, I came across someone who said that if I use a wireless Q1 pad/stand, the Turbo will turn on without the aid of a power button while charging, thus solving my problem. Can anyone verify that before I go that route? Thanks!

Does your Turbo turn on when charging with a normal wall charger? Mine never has and it is the only phone I have had that does that.

The original Motorola Droid would turn on when charging by cord.
The Droid Turbo has some battery charge level indicator if it was off when the charging cord was plugged in. But it boots the phone normally if its off and put on the wireless charger.

No, only the wireless.

Thanks for your help. Might as well make the purchase. Either way, its cheaper than buying a new phone.
