Need game suggestions for mothers tablet

I got my mom a Note and want to get some games for her (she's in her late 60's). I would prefer paid games or at least those without a million ads. I was thinking along the lines of some match 3 games and making word games. Name my cup of tea and can't seem to find any decent review lists. Anyone have any suggestions?

I like Shortyz for crosswords and of course Scrabble is a good choice. Getting away from word play, the Crayon Physics game that comes with the Note 10.1 is normally a paid app and it is very addicting without being obnoxious. Also some others:
What's My IQ Pro
Can You Escape
Simon Says
Words

Load one of those word of the day apps (with widget) while you're at it. I use Word of the Day Widget.

So, I'm a mom of four, I'm 41, I can tell you what games I like.

I've got bejewelled, untie me, cell wars, free flow. It would help to know what she enjoys. I like strategy games, but she may not?

Thanks a lot, Mom like mom. .. I had to search through all the web to find what my mother would like till I stumbled upon this. It will keep her busy for sure. She's around 48.
