need help 4.04 flash or rom got red triangle of death

Even though i had done so prior, I flashed a cwm from ROM Manager and it still doesn't work. Red triangle still ... So frustrated with this... really don't want to wipe this phone and start over ....

Have you tried using fastboot?

do we have to unroot to get the update i still cant flash 4.04 im wondering if i unroot will i get update and then can just flash or use wugs to reroot?
