need help asap

ok hi im not a noob to rooting but im not at my house im at my grandmothers visiting im trying to root my phone again but from some odd reason when i open odin and click on pda the download tar not there but when i exit everything open page to my file go to downloads the file is there can someone help my please her computer run windows7 home premium like i said not a noob but this is killing me lol

You need to move the file out of downloads. It can be anywhere on the C: drive other than downloads. You can just move it into the same folder with Odin and it should work. The PC just isn't seeing it. Open downloads, right click on the tar file and click open containing folder. Then just move the file.

on the pda line look all the way to the right. there should be a browse button there that lets you pick the file manually

yea u now whats funny the new tars they have are not showing up but i used the old one that say clockworkmod.tar and it worked lol

Wait I'm doing that wrong. Click the pda button and when it opens the windows screen just change the file to where you have the tar file. After you find the tar file highlight it and click open at the bottom. That should do it

yea i know so the old one works but the new ones are just not showing up period i created a samsung file so i can find the stuff easier and still didn't show up lol crazy
