Need help connecting Galazy S6 to ethernet

[Android Central Question]

I have an ethernet to usb adapter and OTG adapter to connect ethernet to micro usb port on my Galaxy S6. When I connect everything my phone won't connect.
Is there any way for me to connect to ethernet?
Running android 7.0

There are Ethernet adapters for cellphones (microUSB or USB-C connectors on the phone end, depending on which the particular phone needs). A USB-A to microUSB adapter might not work.
