Need help installing roms, recovery-twrp......(device:Galaxy J5 SMJ500F)

i was trying to install twrp on my device using odin but some binary error occured. so i changed file name from .tar.md5 to .tar and it was successful. i backed up the system data, wiped using twrp and tried to install custom roms. i tried many of them but everytime it gave error 7. it stated that no md5 file was found but continued. when i tried to reboot the device it got stuck displaying a green snowy screen. then i wiped again and tried to restore backup. again when i tried to reboot again it got stuck ate the same green snowy screen. what should i do?
