Need help: rooted, custom ROMs = spontaneous reboots

I'm not familiar with busy box, root explorer or the su zip. What will these do for me and will they help with the reboots? I've read up on what busy box and root explorer are, but how will they help with my problem?

No problem. I understand people have other things going on in life. I'll check that out. Thanks.

One last question, what should I do if I have problems and need to take my phone into Sprint? I RUU's 2.2 and it appeared stock, but the hboot still said S-OFF. Are they likely to notice it? Is there anything else I can do?

Usually we can always sort issues out without going to sprint, I regard it as a last resort haha. But if you were going to take it back. Go here-

[GUIDE] How to Unroot the EVO in 2 STEPS - Page 3 - xda-developers

It will get you back too stock, no matter what. Or so everyone says, I obviously haven't done it haha.

OK. Thanks for the link. I'm only concerned about taking it back to Sprint because I have the bright spots on my screen like some others have. It isn't a huge deal, but it is annoying.

Before I even dug into the bootloader link you posted, I had been playing around with the ROMs and kernels again and it looks like it's working now. I'm running VirusROM Sense 1.0 with netarchy toastmod 4.1.9.1 kernel and even a custom theme and so far it's been working fine for ~24 hours. We'll see.

Thanks for your help everyone. It's great to have a community like this that will help you out when you screw things up!
