i have a g1 that's unlocked. i have no tmo sim card.
i found instructions on how to root and follow every single step. however, something about my phone being a rc30 and not a rc29 or modded 30, i could not root it.
i dont know how else to search for the information i need, so i turn to you.
what i'd like to do to the phone is root it so i can run 2.1 and hopefully unlock it myself, instead of finding someone that has tmo and can get me an unlock code.
hopefully that sums up what i'm looking for so that it's easier to give me answer...
