I just installed CodeNameAndroid 1.4.0 (used to be running 1.1.4) and the install was successful, but I restored my apps with Titanium Backup and restored apps and data. After it finished (everything seemed fine), Titanium Backup said I should probably reboot my phone after restoring everything so I did. Now I am stuck in a long bootloop. Worst comes to worst, I have my Nandroid of 1.1.4 on my phone and go back to it (how do I get into recovery if stuck in bootloop?) or I can wait the bootup out. Suggestions guys?

Pull battery, volume up+down and power until bootloader screen.. vol down scroll to recovery, power. Should get you back to recovery.

Not sure what you did though.. I restore my user apps with TiBu all the time and have never been instructed by TiBu to reboot afterwards.. Are you sure you did not restore system data? Make sure you don't. Sounds like you will need to do a full wipe and reflash though. Use the Gapps from here as well: Goo-inside.me Downloads - Downloading gapps-ics-404-020516.zip

Ya that is definitely what I did. I said restore system data AND apps in Titanium Backup which is a bit of a no no. I was able to get back into Clockwork Recovery and Nandroid back to 1.1.4. It is getting a little late and I have work tomorrow so I will wait to flash to 1.4.0 tomorrow and manually redo all my settings. Frustrating sometimes but oh well. I usually only upgrade my ROMs about once a month. Am very happy with 1.1.4 but eager to try 1.4.0 as I hear even more customization, over/underclocking built in, and even better battery performance. Just wish the CNA team would also throw in custom icons and pinch screen for sense-like previews and there would be no turning back ever or a further need for ADW (just cannot part with screen previews and custom icons yet:))
