I had it rooted and running perfectly but decided i wanted to unroot for the update. I moved all the bloatware from my sd card back to the system folders and then used the petes tools to unroot. It said my phone was successfully rooted, but when i rebooted superuser was still installed. I tried to uninstall it myself and it said failed, but the app disappeared from my phone. Then i tried installing the update and it failed. I wasnt sure if the data had copied over correctly back to the system folders, so i did a factory reset and now my phone is just messed up (bunch of force closes came up after reboot and acted very laggy, still no bloatware apps back on my phone yet either). Is there a way to fix this mess easily? I'm thinking about just dunking my phone in the toilet and asking verizon to give me a new one off insurance. Would that work? or file it as lost maybe?
If not, how can i reset my phone to default with the bloat apps and everything installed?
