Need help with my calendar and Facebook!

So, I have my nexus 6 and love it, but I can't figure out how to get my FB birthdays to sync with my Google calendar like it did with my HTC M8. Please help if you have any suggestions.

I vaguely remember there being a way that you could export FB event and calendar details and then import them to Google Calendar. This would automatically update on your phone if you changed something on FB. I don't have FB anymore so there is no way for me to check and verify, but I had to use this procedure on my old Nexus devices.

If I remember correctly, the event information was located under the "events" tab in FB and you could export it.

Thank you so much, I will give this a try. I'm not really active on FB, but I like to send birthday greetings to friends and the M8 would aggregate those events into my Google calendar.

Just taking a guess here. But the feature that was syncing the Facebook birthdays on your M8 might have been an HTC customization that the Nexus 6 doesn't have. However, you can add the Facebook birthdays directly into Google Calendar which would then sync onto your Nexus 6. Take a look at the link below.

Hey , thanks so much for the information, but it actually doesn't work with my current desk top version of FB. I will keep searching. I know that it has to be an export file, but FB doesn't allow me to export.
