People shouldn't be flashing firmware unless they know exactly what they're doing. I strongly suggest you check out XDA, they have complete and exhaustive guides.

I haven't flashed in a long time, but it's good to see a lot of the same resources are there. I used to be on XDA a lot when I had the HTC Wizard/8525.

I'm confused that is still unlocked firmware, wasn't you trying to odin carrier version U not U1.

Here for those that want to odin to latest August Patch Carrier Firmware for all Snapdragon Models this works for unlocked Snapdragon and for All Carriers.
