Reflash stock firmware via Odin. In your Samsung account settings, turn off Reactivation Lock. Root your device again and you will not have this problem.

Nevermind. After 3 hours of trying, it finally passed. It must have been a connection issue. Back to stock now!!

AlphaTango414, thanks!
I followed another tutorial (not precise enough) for rooting my daughter's S6, resulting in a booting loop. I was ready to try any hard and long solution but the unikernel for 5.1.1 just unbricked it without wiping anything. Cheers!

Hi, I've been searching and searching for a thread that answers hot to fix the NAND write start, Fail problem, Finally I found it, I hope.

Anyway, I bought an S6 from a friend and went straight away to getting a rom on it, Anway, I must not have been paying attention though and probably installed a rom incompatible with my version of the S6 because it would just get stuck on the logo screen, I wasn't worried though, thought I'd just throw it into odin and reflash stock ROM (5.02) but it kept failing. I scoured the web for answers but couldnt find anything solid, now that you say you can't roll back though it makes sense. He probably updated it to 5.1.1 and thats why it wouldnt work - I hope, I'm downloading a stock marshmallow Tar for the s6 now so I hope that works. If you have any other advice to give me or anything it would be greatly appreciated. @AlphaTango414

Hey guys. Do you know if you can delete system.img and root.img after successful rooting. These files take up 8gigs of internal memory.
Sorry for late response but no you can not. That the operating system you are referring to. You will end up with a bricked device.
