Need help with wifi hotspot/tethering

I'm trying this out for the first time. I turned portable wifi hotspot on through my phone and I was able to find the network to connect to it on my Macbook but it's asking for a password. I never set a password up yet so I'm not sure what password it is referring to? I can't find it anywhere in the settings to even configure a password for it? Anyone know what to do? Thanks in advance!

Ah found the answer. You gotta tap on the word to pull up the specific settings/configuration screen. I was just turning it on and off with the slider. lol
