Need skinning info

I am out on leave, would love to do some skinning in photoshop and put my wacom pad to use.


where should I start reading to start skinning.


I want to do a tronish skin kinda like what they have for version 3.

LOL I haven't heard the term skinning since CS 1.5

Well you are going to want to extract the /res/drawable-mdpi folder from framework-res.apk

Those are the main images that are used in our phones framework.

Thanks for a start nick, I have loads of time and insomnia up my ass killing me softly and all that jazz.

I was a web development and sys admin for a college, but now am blah at home looking for a project besides my garden.
