Need some help from Rezound owners

I lol'd at your thread when you insisted that Gnex owners would be less biased than Rezound owners. You must not browse the forums too often.

if you like sense then I am sure you will love the Rezound. I, my self, am not a big sense fan but i do like the phone. The camera is great and the screen is really nice. The Rezound is an upgrade from the Bionic I had so I am happy.

I have not done enough research on rooting yet (it sounds a little scary with the wire trick) but I am sure I will take that leap soon enough. One con is the fact that it doesn't have ICS yet.

On paper has better specs than the Gnex ie. 1.5 ghz processor and a 8 mp camera. One more thing I don't like about the rezound is the fact that the buttons (power and volume rocker) are too flush with the phone, I have to actually try to hit the buttons but thats just me being picky.

I hope this helps you out some.

Read up on the issues each phone has. Go to a verizon/cell store and play with each one. Having owned both I'd say that had I waited for the GNex to come out before purchasing a phone, it would have been a tough call. From my POV, I live in a strong LTE signal area so it's easy for me to toss the signal issue out the window. However most people don't so that is a real sticking point. The GNex has vastly inferior antennas/radios to the Rezound so if you absolutely need signal all the time, go with the Rezound. Everything else is software. Oh and the SLCD is really nice, but gets wicked hot vs the SAMOLED which only warms up.

Sense 4 is the best thing to happen to the rezound so far. It's awesome. AOKP is the only thing I'm jealous of the Gnex about. If your going to root, in time, I think the Rezound will have a better flavor of roms for it. The Gnex might have more in terms of numbers, but we will have 3 versions of sense, AOSP, MIUI, AOKP and all the mixed flavors of those. If you hate sense, then it's a different story.

DMeadows is a young dude, can't afford to get new devices all the time, and has said he is with the Rezound for his 2 year contract, and love or hate that dude, he gets other devs involved. Scott looks like he keeps up support for all his phones, so I think we will be good. Plus, the new generation of phones is not blowing the Rez out of the water spec wise. Other than not getting sense 4, the OneX barely beats the Rez, so I'm guessing we should be good for the long haul dev wise.
