Need Some help please!

ok my Droid journey started in april when i purchased my first droid (eris). The verizon rep really sold this phone to me i mean honestly i went in for a blackberry and left with this eris. anyway after having the phone and having a host of problems with it ( not getting calls, texts, freezing etc) i called verizon and was lucky enough to get another crack at a phone at an introductory price.

so i currently have an incredible on order. my dilemma is all of these droid phone getting thrown at us at one time i mean i only used sense dont know a thing about motoblur at all and not too fond on the huge screen i just want to make sure the incredible will live up to these new phones it seems like when they release the new "best" phone the next week one better comes out. i just dont want to go throught the same thing i did with the eris.

hold out or not to hold out that is the question. i cant get rid of this eris fast enough the thing froze on me yesterday i hadda yank the battery out. Any input in greatly appreaciated. thanks

i have the Inc and love it, I upgraded from the Moto Droid which was a great phone too. If you not fond of the larger screen I would say your going to very happy with the Inc and don't worry to much about upcoming phones because they will always be rolling out new and better phones.

I love my Inc. I have not had any problems with it at all. No freezing or any of the crap I had to deal with daily with my Storm. I think (well at least I hope) you will be happy with the Inc. I have been using smartphones for a LONG time and this is by far the best one I have ever owned. And yes, there will always be something better coming down the line that will have a spec or feature that is not on whatever device you are using, but that's what upgrades are for. I can see myself sticking with the Inc for a while.

Thanks for the feedback guys very helful. while i did like my eris and sense is cool honestly i use launcher pro either way so parting with sense really wouldnt kill me. i think im gunna give the droid x a whirl and if i dont like it that much ill just switch to the incredible. ill be satifued with the incred either way but i wanna check the motorola device out. called verizon to switch or cancel my order and they told me i had to wait. they said i might ust have to recieved the incredible and send it back. but i can order the droid x when it is available they told me they didnt have any info in terms of pricing or release dates tho
