I was running CM7 stable, then tried to nandroid restore a Myn's Warm backup, a message in recovery said something like "oops, there's a problem." Now I can't restore any of my backups. I have 3 backups, a CM7, Misfits Alloy and a Myn's Warm.

What should I do next? The only screen I can access now is the one that shows Bootloader, Reboot, Reboot bootloader and Power down options. First time I've run into this.

Thanks in advance.

Did you at least nandroid backup your CM7 prior to flashing?

Also try wiping cache...then reflashing.

I didn't nandroid backup my current CM7, but I do have a CM7 nandroid backup from May 21 , I flashed the formats all zip before trying to restore the Myn;s warm backup.

Not sure about how to get back to recovery. After Hboot it asks if I want to start update, I don't know if I am supposed to choose yes or no.

You get back to recovery by holding volume down and powering on. Then select the recovery option from the list...

when I do that it won't let me choose recovery, it goes into HBOOT where the blue bar fills up, says thinks like

HBOOT
sd checking...
Loading PC3DIAG.zip etc.

after the bar fills up my options are:

do you want to start update?
vol up yes
vol down no

what should i choose?

That's beyond my knowledge... I don't want to give you the wrong advice. Maybe someone else more knowledgeable here can help. :-(

Yes the pc36img.zip is the zip that the phone searches for everytime you boot into hboot. You just flashed your ron that you used to root with.

Also you could of been able to volume down and decline the update then choose recovery. If not get rom manger and reinstall the latest clockworkmod.
