Need some help with clockworkmod and flashing rom

Got rooted last week(thanks again to shabbypenguin!) however,when I use rom manager to either boot to recovery,or attempt to back up rom, I get a droid figure and triangle/exclamation point. Occasionally I have had to battery pull to boot again. Not sure what is going wrong.any ideas? Otherwise phone is fine, wireless tether works great, which is why I rooted in the first place. Just wanted to try out oxygen.

edit: got it fixed. had to rename etc/install-recovery.sh to .bak and re-flash clockwork mod recovery.

Update your clockworkmod recovery within Rom Manger. Make sure you chose the Nexus S 4G option after you select the option to flash.

I did that a dozen times last night. It won't stick...after reboot I get exclamation point. I read on xda-developers I may need to rename a file,I'm gonna try that now.thanks
