Forgive me if this is a dumb question but..... I want to change my bootanimation on my Fascinate but I can't find step by step directions on how to do it. What I have found says to replace the bootanmiation.zip file in system\media; however, I don't have a file like that. I find two files named bootsamsung and bootsamsungloop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

are you running a custom kernel (JT, or Dirks voodoo kernels) as those are the only ones i know of right now that let you change the boot animation.

after you flash those, it should be as simple as replacing the one that is in /system/media with your own.

at least that's all i did with root explorer :)

the one with the boot animation? there's 3 by JT, the later two add the boot animation (and of them there's a stock [1000mhz] and OC [1200mhz])

Oh ok gotcha, I did the first one which is just changes (I thought the other two files were just for bootanmiation, yah I'm new to this just rooted an hour ago and installed Voodoo). So if I wish to change the boot animation I need to use 1000_voodoo_bootanimation_0.2.zip in the same way I used the other zip to update just the kernal after uninstalling the voodoo kernal I just installed correct?

you shouldn't need to uninstall voodoo to flash one of the other kernels, just flash on top of it
