Hey guys I could use your suggestions for some cases for my new 3XL. I want to pick up 3 cases for a variety, and I'd like something unusual, quality, something that stands out with design or materials, and hopefully something that won't bulk the phone up too much for pocket carry. Pretty easy question right? LoL.

There's so many cases and brands on Amazon and other places I get lost in them. I know there's some cool cases around that I'm just not aware of. Let me know some of your favorites ;) Thanks :D

"Materials" should be silicone for the outer layer. If you don't want that, TPU is a poor, but viable, second choice. You want something that will protect the phone, or why use a case? (I always use an Otterbox.)

I have my third (fourth?) Stilgut case with a 'clip" to keep it closed on my Pixel3. I did not check if there's one for the unit you have. They are a leather case and obviously add to the bulk but they provide protection. I take the phone biking, hiking and cross-country skiing. I previously used them on my various Blackberry phones. Amazon sells them, I believe.

Nice -- I like the one that flips open like a Star Trek communicator.:)

Although I wish they'd make one without the flip cover. I really like leather cases (or leather-feel cases), and would just like a standard one without the cover.

Well, there's always surgery and amputation! :)

I've got the brown one for my Pixel 3 and it is smooth leather.

Thanks guys for the awesome suggestions...as I figured you came up with very cool original cases I'd never heard of :D I bookmarked the links, and am going to check them out in detail a bit later. The wood and leather is exactly what I was looking for ;) I want something unique and premium.... those fit the bill.

Rukbat I love the Otterbox defender, been running one on my pixel 1 for over a year now. Awesome case, but I think it'll make the 3xl to big for my pocket  Plus I wanna change things up lol.

I have been using the OEM case since I got the phone. No issues at all.

Thank you again mrpackerguy, I ordered the case today.... crazy good deal :D

I paid $50 for this case. I love it. The only time I take it off is when at the beach or poolside where there's lotions and water. It is really cool how it ages gracefully.

Wow, that Nomad case does look nice! I'm tempted to get it myself, but I'll probably trade the phone in later this year for one of the newer Pixels ...

Come on B you know you want it lol. For $15 you can't go wrong.....spoil yourself till the pixel 6 comes out at the end of this year. That's well worth the money :p

Good call. It was my case of choice (I've since switched to the S20FE, a choice I in many ways regret over sticking with the Pixel line).

Definitely ages well - and probably better if you don't coddle it too much (though I agree with the post above about avoiding oils, etc). The gradual wear and scuffs from it sharing a pocket with other items, etc, helps it develop its unique character and patina that much faster.

I just got it -- man, this is sweet! Also a little less bulky than my Moment case. My only concern is that the new leather is a bit slippery, but I assume that will change over time with more handling.

Thanks @mrpackerguy for the heads up! (And to @J Dubbs for goading me to buy it.:p)
