Need to unroot. Please Help!

I have in HTC Inspire 4g and I rooted it. It does not have sound now and I find the whole rooting process to be way to complicated and I have looked everywhere and tried everything to get the sound back and nothing works. It is running software 1.32.405.6 and I just want to go back to the 1.7x software. It still has S on and all that stuff I just want to undo what I have done basically. Is there no easy way to undo it like there is on the iPhone? I am used to jailbreaking and unjailbreaking very easily and now that I have switched to Android I find this very complicated. Somebody please help me get my phone working as a phone again...

For warranty purposes, you may need to completely turn your phone back to the way it was when you bought it. This means S-On and non-rooted. To do this you have to two things:

Download and run bubby323’s S-ON tool from here: S-ON_Tool.exe
Download and run the stock RUU from here:

Make sure you run the S-On tool first, as the tool requires root permissions. Once complete, you should have a phone that is completely stock, just like when you pulled it out of the box for the first time. You WILL lose all of your data that is not backed up.
