Need to update my baseband?

I'm running CM7 RC3 on my Dinc and it shows baseband version 1.00.03.04.06. Shouldn't I be running something newer like 2.15.00.11.19? Everything but my GPS seems to be working fine. Not sure if these are connected. I also don't know how to upgrade it if anyone could give me instructions or a link to instructions that would be great. I downloaded 2.15.00.11.19 and tried rom manager/ recovery version 3.0.0.8 but it won't install it.
