Did u checked XDA to see it is possible with a custom ROM to update your phone? Unfortunately, because your phone is already too old, the only way to update it is rooting the phone and install a customized ROM.

Its not a phone sorry its a motorola XOOM tablet. I was just looking on how to root and how to update it myself
