Let me begin by saying I've searched EVO Forum with "Snow Leopard" and then "Mac" and haven't located answers.

I've been on Mac since 2005 and an iPhone since 2007 and now returning to Sprint with lesson learned: Never say Never!

I've Googled "how do i transfer from iphone to android on a Mac" and haven't found any significant help in the first 15 pages of the search. Thus, I need to ask for help to locate the specific suggested steps I need to follow to successfully achieve a working and syncing EVO 4G on my Mac?

I already have Google Contacts working and can't get Google Calendar working.

Best Regards and Thanks,
Freymoour

P.S.: Was just notified that my EVO is shipping today :D Car power adapter and Transcend 16GB microSD purchased; Solios Magnesium Solar Charger, ZAGG Invisible Shield, Innocell 1750, iGo Tip, Solio LED Light Tip all shipped; FastMac U-Socket on Backorder.

P.P.S.: Finally, after ordering my EVO I sent an email "So long and thanks for all the Fish" to Steve Jobs detailing my extreme displeasure with AT&T's antics and Apple's determination to send advertising to the iPhone using my hard earned $'s to pay for it. Apple wants to sell advertising let them pay for my service! After all, NBC, CBS and ABC do for my TV viewing pleasure!

If you have google contacts set up your 50% of the way there. As soon as you put in your login info your ready to go in that area.

Music > If you want your music on your phone, there are work around itunes syns, or applications such as double twist that will auto sync for you. Other wise, just drag and drop from finder to your evo's music folder on the sd card when its plugged in.

Same for photo's and videos respectively.

As for applications. If your iphone apps have android counterparts, it might be worth it to email the company, and let them know your switching over, they might be able to credit you or give you a free licence sort of thing.

I'm not too sure about the calender but you can sync you google calendar with you mac calender (thats what i do), and it should sync directly to your evo.

If theres something i left out let me know. Hope it helps.

I love my evo and my mac, and everything works as it should =)

Within 24 hours of porting my iPhone number to EVO 4G I received a call from AT&T wanting to know the reasons I left. Customers must be leaving AT&T like the plague!

Thats what its going to take for AT&T to start treating its customers fairly. They have been taking advantage for years of people that just wanted to be cool and hip by having an iphone.
