nesoid + wiimote

I'm going to dig out an old bluetooth keyboard, and see if I can get that to work. Let's eliminate proprietary controllers from the equation, and see if the emulators can handle something the OS has native support for.

A bluetooth keyboard works perfectly, without any problems at all. WTF

Did motorola build this in somehow on purpose to detect certain device types to stop us from using emulators? (ok, that makes me sound like a conspiracy theorist'

I also, using ADB Shell, copied the 'saved config' from my OG Droid to the Bionic, didn't work either. Figured it wouldn't, but its all i got. lol

I've been e-mailing back and forth with the Sixaxis Controller support guy (maybe the developer?) and he's aware of the issues on the Droid X2, Droid 3, and Bionic and he said... and I quote, " I will actually be uploading an update in the next couple of days that I *hope* will address this issue"

I volunteered to be a guinea pig when/if its available to test.

Droid 3 apparently has the same problem. SenseUI seems to be the cause. We may have to wait for Cyanogen to release a mod that does away with MotoBlur once and for all...

Holy crap... that would be AWESOME. I will gladly hand that man all of my monies if he can do a workaround soon.

My thoughts exactly. I was all psyched up to play my games on the big screen now that I have HDMI mirroring.... now I get to wait. :'(

So far i've only got two gripes with the Bionic. Netflix crackling sound (netflix issue, not phone) and THIS. lol (unless you count my gripe about the Lapdock/Webtop not having an RDP client)

My thoughts exactly. You can't release a dual-core, 4g, HDMI device and then not expect us to play games on it. Frankly, Google should have added native support for bluetooth gamepads already.

Please let me know if/when he sends you/releases the update, and how it works. Mike Tyson needs a beatdown, and I'll never be able to defeat him with the touchscreen.

haha. Totally. I have NEVER beat him without cheating. lol. And I can't stand the new 'old' version on the Wii, just titled 'Punch Out'. Really? Gotta change it and leave Mike Tyson out? c'mon!!! lol

Very disappointing, I was really looking forward to rocking some NES on this thing. Wiimote worked perfect on my D1. Dagnabit.

Aye, I'm looking forward to an update as well! I can confirm this issue on my bionic. I tried Wiimote Controller and it works outside the snesoid app. Same with the six axis one. Snes9x EX does work but has input lag that is MUCH exaggerated when you hook up via HDMI (half second input delays).

I'm praying the sixaxis developer comes through!
