Oops, looks like the forum does not allow you to edit the subject (that's intelligent) I meant to say "low" audio thru headphone jack and speaker!

So tonight I tried watching my first Netflix movie on the Charge.

I'm still waiting for the Micro HDMI to HDMI cable to arrive. The first one I ordered was wrong as I chose mini instead of micro, so I can't check it out through the HDMI cable yet to a TV.

But why is the volume so low when played through the Charge's speaker? I have it on the highest setting. I plugged in my headphones and it wasn't that much louder. I do see a message that pops up telling me when the media slider is about a 1/4 inch from max that listening above this setting can damage hearing. Maybe I'm losing my hearing because at max it's not that loud. Neither is playing an MP3 file.

Is there a volume limit setting that I'm missing on the Charge? Or is this just a Netflix issue?

Hello.. Have you adjusted the DSP audio options ?

Thx.
I just went into the music player and found the DSP. I took it off auto in both areas. That worked for the music player, but I don't think that had any effect on the Netflix volume. I'm not rooted by the way.

I see several free DSP downloads in the marketplace. But I don't know if they will help Netflix's volume. I was watching a video on another site and it was quite loud at full volume.

I have a feeling this is a Netflix issue, because even when I plug in external speakers the volume (and it has it's own volume control) it still doesn't go that loud. If there is any background sound in the room I can't crank it up to hear it comfortably.
