Anyone else seeing Netflix app is not compatible?

edit. just noticed the Marriott app doesn't work either. This is too bad, was kinda liking this phone, may have to go back to Amazon.

Update : Problem resolved with a reboot and allowed me to install. Very strange. Marriott still won't install though.

It's not compatible? This is confusing. Hopefully another user will be able to assist you!

False alarm, must have been a glitch. Netflix finally downloaded after initially saying it was not supported . Marriott still says not supported

Netflix works on mine but Hulu doesn't.

Also, I just installed the Netflix application with no issues. FWIW, I'm using the US version of the phone.

thanks, now if I can only figure out why Marriott app won't install for me and will for others....makes no sense to me.

It's a shot in the dark here, but look at your apps' permission settings/permission settings in general. Let us know what happens!

Interestingly every app mentioned here works fine for me! :) I have the International version. :)

Try clearing the cache from the play store, and if that doesn't work, try clearing the cache from google play services (under settings, apps), THEN still no joy (and this is more extreme) try clearing data same order.

So I have had many phones and know how to clear cache on apps, system, etc. For the life of me, I don't see anything in Settings>Apps>Playstore on how to clear this. I tried to google this, but every procedure thats listed is wrong.(from what I have seen) What am I missing?

You are RIGHT there. ;) Just click on storage and you will see it! FIRST try clearing just the cache, see if that fixes it, THEN try clearing the cache on Google Play Services (same procedure) then in the same order try clearing data, BUT clearing data wipes out a bit of stuff like saved passwords, and game progress and stuff. (SOME games save progress on a server so no worries your Clash of Clans Town Hall will be fine, although you might have to attach to it again as you did first time you got a new device)
