I cannot get past the spinning wheel when I try to sign in (the screen says "signing in" and the red wheel spins forever) to Netflix on my Tab s 8.4. I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem. I have uninstalled/re-installed the app with no love. TIA :(

Are you able to watch it on any other device of yours?

Try restarting the tab. Try another another network, like if using home wifi, see if you can use the hotspot feature on the note 3 and connect the tab to that

I has this same problem on my 2014 Note 10.1 after the Kit Kat update. I had to uninstall and reinstall the Netflix app. Worked fine after that.

I also have the same problem. On a Tab 10.5 as opposed to the 8. Pinwheel just spins forever when trying to sign-in. Can't really uninstall since it's a factory app, but can rool back updates. This does no good though. When you start it just tells you that you need to install the updates to continue.

Rebooting hasn't helped. Clearing App cach/data hasn't helped.

It has worked in the past. It's been about the past two weeks that it hasn't worked.

Any suggestions?

Works like a champ on my Galaxy Tab S 8.4. My only working theory on the devices where that's not the case would be some sort of interaction with other installed apps.

Anyone able to resolve this one?

I'm getting the error "Unable to start netflix application. Please try to restart it (-116)" and I've tried uninstalling, installing a prior version APK, rebooting and nothing has gotten me any further. It happens right when I try to sign in.

I feel like a factory reset or waiting until lollipop are my only two options and I don't really like either one!

EDIT: In case anyone else wonders, I did go for the reset. Even though I let google restore everything, resetting to factory defaults did permit netflix to start functioning properly. I'll post again if I can figure out what the key variable is.

just got my Tab last night and nextflix is working fine!

typically the uninstall and reinstall is the best bet...also make sure its up to date, sometimes you can get caught between updates!
