Netflix on Android

Hey does anyone know if netflix will on the evo. i am brand new to android so i am curious

Netflix, at least in Chrome, uses Silverlight, I'm not sure if this is on Android.

No, it will not work. It would require a special app, which doesn't exist.

Its likely youll see it in WP7, though.

I'd imagine that Netflix will start making apps when its viable to do so. cell network CEO's would hang themselves at the thought of users streaming video 2 hours at a time.

the movies app by flixter synchronizes with netflix. also there is an unofficial netflix app called phoneflix. i have a G1 so hopefully the Movies app is available on the EVO. also, there is always m.netflix.com

I'm sure it will be out around the same time as the iphone version which was announced recently. This plus flash will make android a true multimedia competitor. I think companies should release smart portable media players with android installed on them to compete with the ipod touch.

Those are mainly queue management apps.. as far as I know the streaming app is on the way. Of course it was ready for the iPhone 4 which isn't even released yet before Android devices.
