Thanks for the link crump84! All I had to do was check "Unknown Sources" as mentioned above, click crump84's link, select 'Yes' to goto the Download viewer. Once it was downloaded I was able to open it from there and didn't need Astro at all. It opened without hesitation. The first time I tried to play a movie it did give me the 1005 error though. So, I closed the app and reopened it. From that point I've been good to go! 
Update: It didn't seem to matter that I moved this 25mb behemoth to my SD card.
