Netflix on the HTC Evo Shift working!

Thanks for the link crump84! All I had to do was check "Unknown Sources" as mentioned above, click crump84's link, select 'Yes' to goto the Download viewer. Once it was downloaded I was able to open it from there and didn't need Astro at all. It opened without hesitation. The first time I tried to play a movie it did give me the 1005 error though. So, I closed the app and reopened it. From that point I've been good to go! :-)

Update: It didn't seem to matter that I moved this 25mb behemoth to my SD card.

Thank you. Followed your instructions and it worked great. Have Netflix on my Evo Shift-awesome!!
Moved to sd card also with no problems. To me it works exactly the same as in my wife's Epic 4g (kinda laggy if you ask me, but I don't mind)

I was able to install the app initally, entered my username for netflix and it brought up my queue, but gave me a 1005 error when i tried to watch a show. Exited and restarted, got the 1005 again; I ended up reinstalling the app and so far so good! Thanks for the walkthrough!

New to the site and to EVO Shift. Tried to install to my computer and just couldn't get it right. Followed instructions to d/l ASTRO and then put mirror link in drop down and it work like a charm. Was watching Netflix in a few minutes....THANKS GUYS!!

Confirmed! And better yet, it can be moved to your SD card right out of the gate! That's a good thing because it's a 7MB program.

Anyone tried connecting the shift to a TV to watch netflix? Does it work?

I found this at monoprice but it doesnt say it will work on a shift. Anyone tried it?
