Lately when streaming on Netflix the video turns into slow motion as if I had 20 different programs running on my tab and there wasn't enough RAM to have it stream smoothly. However I have no other programs running and only 39 apps. Anyone having this issue??

i have the same, although it might be what i'm watching, i'll have to check with another movie or show...my image gets slightly slower than sound and so if i don't tap the screen to go back a few seconds, the sound starts to advance further and further than the visual.

I have rebooted and I still have the lagging problem. All other video playback works fine on the Tab except for Netflix. Netflix used to work perfect so I am unsure why it all of a sudden started to get buggy. Any other Tab owners have this problem?

I started having this issue too.
I've re-installed the app.
Rebooted my tablet.
It happens with any movie I watch on Netflix.
Oddly enough, this wasn't happening a few weeks ago.

This is EXACTLY what has happened to me...Netflix worked perfectly up until a few weeks ago and now I am unable to use it. Any others out there having this issue?? More importantly - anyone with a FIX?!

Downloaded Netflix and tried it out last night, played an HD movie and it took a few secs for the pixalation to die down but after that it was fine.

So I ended up uninstalling a bunch of apps and now Netflix works fine. 39 apps is too much for the Tab to handle? Where's the power of dual core??!!

Having 39 apps installed is different to having 39 apps running at the same time! When running Netflix, what other apps did you have running and what was the RAM Manager saying about your memory usage? I have 81 apps on my Tab and I do not experience any Netflix issues.

RAM was about 375 out of 724. If I cleared the memory it told me 19 apps were closed. But Netflix still didn't work after doing this.

I watched 30 minutes of the pilot of "The Walking Dead" in HD with the app using wi-fi and everything was in sync. I have the GTab 8.9.

My internet is blazing fast...its this piece of garbage tablet that's doing it. The problem is back. Fck this thing!

I have the same problem - any time I want to watch Netflix content, I have to reboot. After this, it works wonderfully well, until I have the tablet running for a day or so. I was using the prior, unofficial Netflix build, and never had this issue. However, the newer version supports "HD" content, so this may be the reason. Tegra 2 is slow as hell for H.264 decoding, so it's not a surprise to me at all if an app or two running in the background (even a service) causes Netflix to bog down. Tegra 2 is seriously underpowered for these things.

Its very strange but I have no issues with the Netflix app, even streaming HD on it causes no issues. Even my HTC Desire Z runs Netflix with no problems.

How could it be that my HTC Thunderbolt plays Netflix videos FLAWLESSLY (single core AND even when i switch to 3G) yet the Tab is so laggy on an extremely fast wifi network? Such BS!
